Description:
Wynn’s Off-Car DPF Cleaner is a heavy-duty cleaner designed to thoroughly clean and remove blockages in diesel particulate filters caused by soot, ash, and other contaminants. It restores filter efficiency, reduces back pressure, and helps avoid costly DPF replacements.

Properties:

Applications:

  • Flexible cleaning methods: pour directly into the filter or immerse the filter in a cleaning bath.

Directions:

  1. Demount the filter and remove all probes/sensors.

  2. Choose one of the following cleaning methods:

Method 1 – Self-Contained Cleaning:
a. Seal one end of the filter and any sensor openings with a bung or vinyl gloves.
b. Place the filter upright and fill with Wynn’s Off-Car DPF Cleaner, ensuring the core is fully covered (fill in the reverse direction of exhaust flow).

Method 2 – Bath Cleaning:
a. Fill a suitable receptacle with Wynn’s Off-Car DPF Cleaner.
b. Completely immerse the filter in the cleaning solution.

  1. Soak the filter for a minimum of 90 minutes (up to 8 hours for heavily blocked filters). Occasionally gently agitate the filter and top up the fluid if necessary.

  2. Rinse the filter thoroughly with warm water from both sides until water runs clear.

  3. Dry the filter, preferably using a low-pressure airline.

  4. Re-mount the filter on the vehicle.

  5. Add one bottle of Wynn’s Diesel Extreme Injector Cleaner to the fuel tank to support optimal system performance.
