Würth Activator – Solvent-Based Surface Treatment Würth Activator is a solvent‑based surface treatment designed to accelerate the curing of instant adhesives. It is ideal for applications where bonding needs to be completed within seconds, as well as when working with inactive materials or larger bonding gaps. The activator is formulated for surface activation only and is designed to minimise the risk of yellowing or discolouration, making it particularly suitable for use on UPVC surfaces. Apply at least 2 minutes before the adhesive and allow the activator to evaporate completely before joining the parts. Excess adhesive can also be cured by spraying the activator directly over it.
