MOTUL RBF 700 DOT 4 Fully Synthetic Racing Brake Fluid

MOTUL RBF 700 is a high-performance, fully synthetic DOT 4 racing brake fluid developed for hydraulic brake and clutch systems operating under extreme temperatures.

Its exceptionally high boiling points help maintain consistent braking performance during demanding motorsport, track and high-performance road use. It is suitable for carbon, ceramic and conventional steel brake discs.

Key Features

  • 100% synthetic racing brake fluid
  • DOT 4 specification
  • Very high dry boiling point of 336°C / 637°F
  • High wet boiling point of 205°C / 401°F
  • Suitable for hydraulic brake and clutch systems
  • Designed for extreme-temperature braking conditions
  • Helps reduce the risk of vapour lock and spongy braking
  • Suitable for carbon, ceramic and conventional steel discs
  • Can also be used in high-performance road vehicles
  • Amber colour

Performance Benefits

The very high dry boiling point provides excellent thermal resistance and stable braking performance under severe operating conditions.

Its high wet boiling point helps maintain efficient braking even after the fluid has absorbed moisture over time. This reduces the risk of boiling, vapour lock and a soft or spongy brake pedal.

Technical Specifications

  • Standard: FMVSS 116 DOT 4
  • Colour: Amber
  • Viscosity at 100°C: 2.1 mm²/s
  • Viscosity at -40°C: 1,580 mm²/s
  • Dry boiling point: 336°C / 637°F
  • Wet boiling point: 205°C / 401°F

Applications

Suitable for:

  • Motorsport and racing vehicles
  • Track-day vehicles
  • High-performance road cars
  • Hydraulic brake systems
  • Hydraulic clutch systems

Important Information

Do not mix with silicone-based DOT 5 brake fluid or mineral hydraulic fluids such as LHM.

Store in the original container with the cap tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption. Brake fluid can damage paint and varnished surfaces, so clean any spills immediately.
