MOTUL RBF 600 FACTORY LINE

100% Synthetic Racing Brake Fluid – DOT 4
Very high boiling point: 312°C / 594°F
Suitable for hydraulic brake and clutch systems

TYPE OF USE

  • Designed for all types of hydraulically actuated brake and clutch systems requiring non-silicone synthetic fluid.
  • Specially developed to withstand extreme temperatures in racing brake systems (steel or carbon) and clutch systems.
  • Suitable for conventional brakes with steel discs and standard hydraulic clutch actuators.
  • Exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 5.1 standards (except viscosity at -40°C).

PERFORMANCES

Standards:

  • FMVSS 116 DOT 4
  • ISO 4925 (5.1, 4 & 3)
  • SAE J1703

Extreme thermal resistance and stability:

  • Very high dry boiling point (312°C / 594°F) exceeding:
    • DOT 5.1 (260°C / 500°F minimum)
    • DOT 4 (230°C / 446°F minimum)
  • Ensures effective braking even under extreme conditions.

Efficient in wet conditions:

  • High wet boiling point (205°C / 401°F) exceeding:
    • DOT 5.1 (180°C / 356°F minimum)
    • DOT 4 (155°C / 311°F minimum)
  • Maintains braking efficiency in rainy or humid conditions.
  • Brake fluids absorb moisture over time, reducing boiling point and increasing risk of vapor lock.
  • Wet boiling point is measured after fluid absorbs 3% water (approx. 1 year of use).

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Follow manufacturer’s drain intervals and adjust according to usage.
  • Do not mix with lower-performance polyglycol-based fluids.
  • Do not mix with silicone (DOT 5) or mineral-based fluids (LHM).
  • Store in tightly closed original container to prevent moisture absorption.
  • Avoid contact with skin, paint, or varnish (aggressive chemical).
  • In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
