MOTUL 8100 X-CESS GEN2 5W-40

High-performance 100% synthetic lubricant specially designed for powerful and recent cars fitted with large-displacement petrol and diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, with indirect or direct injection.

This multipurpose engine oil features numerous car manufacturer approvals and is especially recommended for vehicles still under warranty.

Suitable for all types of fuel, including leaded or unleaded petrol, ethanol, LPG, diesel and biofuels. Compatible with catalytic converters.

Performance

The API SQ standard is fully backward compatible with API SP and previous API standards.

API SQ lubricants provide excellent oxidation resistance, improved deposit protection, enhanced engine cleanliness, strong anti-wear performance and better cold-temperature operation throughout the oil service life. The specification also provides protection against LSPI in downsized, direct-injection turbocharged petrol engines.

The BMW Longlife-01 specification is designed for BMW engines requiring high lubricant performance, particularly engines equipped with the Valvetronic system.

The Mercedes-Benz MB 229.5 specification provides excellent ageing resistance, strong oil-film durability, detergent and dispersant performance, and fuel economy benefits compared with conventional 15W-40 oils.

The Porsche A40 standard requires very high shear resistance and is suitable for many Porsche petrol engines where this specification is required.

Renault RN0700 and RN0710 standards cover selected naturally aspirated and turbocharged petrol engines, as well as compatible diesel engines without a diesel particulate filter.

VW 502 00 and VW 505 00 specifications are designed for selected Volkswagen Group petrol and diesel engines operating with fixed oil-drain intervals.
