MOTUL 8100 POWER 5W-40 is a fully synthetic, ester-based engine oil inspired by competition use. It is designed for high-performance petrol and diesel engines, whether naturally aspirated or turbocharged, with direct or indirect injection. It is intended for demanding driving conditions across a wide range of engine speeds and temperatures, including road and racing use.

It is suitable for petrol and diesel engines requiring an SAE 5W-40 oil meeting API SP. The formulation is compatible with biofuels, including E85, and exhaust after-treatment systems such as catalytic converters. It also helps protect downsized petrol engines against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI).

The product is suitable for engines running on leaded or unleaded petrol, ethanol, LPG, diesel and biofuels, subject to the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements. This type of oil may be unsuitable for some engines, so check the owner’s manual before use.
