ASTRA 32, 68, 100, 150, 220 - Slideway Lubricants
Description:
Astra Slideway Lubricants are specially formulated for the precise lubrication of machine tool slideways and tables. Made from high-quality mineral oils and performance additives, they include a tackifier to ensure the lubricant adheres consistently to moving parts. These additives provide excellent resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and wear, while eliminating stick-slip and judder commonly encountered in mechanically and hydraulically operated machine tools.
Astra Slideway Lubricants offer superior cutting fluid compatibility and exceptional film strength, preventing pickup and scoring on bearing surfaces even under severe conditions or intermittent use. They maintain performance even with the continual washing action of water-based cutting fluids.
Features:
-
Excellent oxidation and corrosion protection
-
Strong adhesion, even under challenging conditions
-
Eliminates stick-slip and judder
-
Complete separation from coolants and emulsions
-
Multifunctional performance with hydraulic and gear oil capabilities
Applications:
Recommended for slideways, tables, carriages, guides, and all machining center applications requiring a tacky, extreme-pressure lubricant. Also suitable for headstocks, cross feeds, saddles, and gearboxes.
-
ASTRA 32 is particularly recommended for machine tools with combined hydraulic and slideway lubrication systems.
