Pro-Line Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner is a highly effective professional cleaning fluid designed for cleaning clogged diesel particulate filters while they are still installed on the vehicle. It dissolves hardened, dense and encrusted deposits from the surface of the DPF, helping to restore exhaust flow, improve engine performance and support lower fuel consumption.

TYPE OF USE

Suitable for passenger car diesel engines fitted with a diesel particulate filter, also known as DPF or FAP. Ideal for workshop use when the DPF is blocked or restricted, helping to avoid costly replacement or repair when used correctly.

PERFORMANCES

The cleaner softens and dissolves soot and contamination inside the particulate filter so it can be burned off during the regeneration process. Regular cleaning, especially when combined with the correct flushing procedure, helps maintain optimum vehicle behaviour, engine efficiency and fuel economy.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Use with the correct DPF pressurised tank spray gun and suitable DPF spray probe. Access is usually gained by removing the temperature or pressure sensor from the diesel particulate filter. The DPF temperature should be below 40°C before cleaning.

Spray the full contents directly onto the DPF surface in several short intervals, then allow approximately 15 minutes for the cleaner to take effect. After cleaning, flush the particulate filter with the recommended flushing fluid and initiate regeneration according to the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions.

Always follow the safety data sheet and workshop safety procedures. After use, depressurise and completely drain the pressure tank. The spray gun must not be stored with product remaining in the tank.
